Summersville – No. 3 seed Sissonville used a 28-point fourth quarter outburst to pull away from No. 2 seed Nicholas County Wednesday for a 62-48 win in the Class AAA Region 3, Section 2 semifinal clash.
Ben Smith scored 15 to lead the Indians. Jalen Breckenridge added 13 and Brandon Conner scored 11.
Colby Pishner scored 21 points, while Briar Bailes nailed five 3-pointers and scored 17 points for the Grizzlies.
Nicholas County ends the season 10-13. Sissonville will play Herbert Hoover for the sectional title Friday in Clendenin.
