Princeton 51, Beckley 49
Princeton – Princeton defeated Beckley 51-49 in the sectional opener Tuesday in Princeton. With the win Princeton will host Oak Hill in the sectional championship Friday.
Oak Hill 76, Greenbrier East 59
Fairlea – Oak Hill Oak Hill outscored Greenbrier East in each of the final three quarters Tuesday, upsetting and eliminating Greenbrier East with a 76-59 victory in Fairlea.
Trevor Kelly led the Red Devils with 20 points while Malachi Lewis netted 19.
Goose Gabbert capped his high school career with 19 points in the loss.
Oak Hill advances to the sectional championship where it will travel to Princeton on Friday with a home regional game on the line.
