Upper Glade – Class A No. 5 Webster County defended its home court Thursday night with a 72-61 win over No. 8 Greater Beckley.
Rayden Triplett poured in a game-high 29 points and Logan Leichliter dropped in 20 points to pace the Highlanders.
Keegan Davidson and Aaron Hall scored 17 points each for the Crusaders, while Kellen Heffernan added 10 points.
Greater Beckley is scheduled to host Class A No. 2 James Monroe Saturday, weather permitting.
