James Monroe improves to 11-1 and will host Greater Beckley on Tuesday in a matchup of the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in Class A.

Man – Tanner Whitten scored 25 and secured 12 rebounds as Wyoming East fell 73-55 at Man Friday night.
The Warriors were without starters Chandler Johnson and Garrett Mitchell as well as key reserve Jacob Howard as all three were serving suspensions related to last week’s game against Westside.
East drops to 2-4 and will host Independence on Saturday. Mitchell will be eligible to return for that game while Howard and Johnson will need to serve one more game each.
