Thursday’s New River CTC Invitational games were called off Wednesday evening according to Tournament Director Mike Green.
Due to early school dismissals and impending inclement weather the decision was made to call Thursday’s games off and work towards rescheduling some of them for Friday and Saturday.
The games originally scheduled for Thursday were PikeView-Liberty, Spring Valley-Shady Spring (girls), Princeton-Huntington and Westside-Greater Beckley.
An updated schedule will be released as more information become available.
As it currently stands the remaining schedule is as follows:
FRIDAY, JANUARY 7
3:00 P.M. – Greenbrier West Cavaliers vs. Pikeview Panthers
4:45 P.M. – Greenbrier East Spartans vs. Cabell Midland Knights
6:30 P.M. – Huntington Lady Highlanders vs. Cabell Midland Lady Knights
8:15 P.M. – Independence Patriots vs. Shady Spring Tigers
SATURDAY, JANUARY 8
11:30 A.M. – Webster County Highlanders vs. James Monroe Mavericks
1:15 P.M. – Greenbrier East Spartans vs. Greenbrier West Cavaliers
4:45 P.M. – Cabell Midland Lady Knights vs. Woodrow Wilson Lady Flying Eagles
6:30 P.M. – Cabell Midland Knights vs. Shady Spring Tigers
8:15 P.M. – Logan Wildcats vs. Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles
