New Richmond – Tanner Whitten scored 22 points as Wyoming East eliminated Summers County with a 55-21 win Friday in New Richmond.
Jacob Howard added 11 points in the win while Garrett Mitchell scored eight.
Cruz Testerman led Summers with eight.
Summers finishes the season with a 9-13 record while Wyoming East improves to 11-11.
The Warriors will travel to the Brushfork Armory on Tuesday for the Class AA Region3, Section 1 championship against Bluefield.

Lindside – Class A No. 1 James Monroe hit the century mark Friday afternoon to defeat River View 100-38 in the final regular season contest for both teams.
Shad Sauvage dropped in 26 points including six 3-pointers to lead the Mavs. Eli Allen added 17, while Collin Fox scored 11. Cameron Thomas and Haiden Huffman scored eight points apiece.
Daniel Dobbs led the Raiders with 11 points.
River View plays Montcalm Monday in the opening round of Class A Region 3, Section 1 play. The winner will then play at James Monroe on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights took a commanding lead after three quarters and coasted to a 67-49 win over Independence in Coal City Friday night.
Six players for Mount View scored seven or more points led by Justin Haggerty with 18 and Tony Bailey with 12. Malaki Bishop scored nine, while Jason Haggerty and Brendon Rotenberry had eight apiece. Jaylen Hall scored seven.
Corey Shumate led the Patriots with 18 points and Logan Phalin finished with a double-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
Independence opens sectional play Monday at Westside, while Mount View will open its sectional play by hosting Greater Beckley Christian Tuesday.
