Charleston – Class AAA No. 1 Beckley (9-1-2) continued to roll Tuesday night with a 2-nil win over regional nemesis George Washington.
Jackson Schroder scored on a corner kick from Tyler Snyder to give the Flying Eagles a 1-0 lead at the half.
Hagen Hall made it a two goal advantage off of an assist from A.J. Bishop in the second half.
Bryson Doss had one save as Beckley recorded seventh clean sheet and its fourth in a row.
The Flying Eagles travel to Capital Thursday night.
Shady Spring 11, James Monroe 1
Shady Spring scored eight first half goals to cruise past James Monroe 11-1 Tuesday on H.B. Thomas Field.
Micah Smith scored five goals on the night and Nathan Vecellio had a hat trick and five assists in the win.
Evan Rivera added two goals and Lenny Wagner had one goal.
Ezra Smith had two assists, while Trace Lilly, Lenny Wagner and Micah Smith had one assist each.
Shady Spring (10-2-1) hosts Pocahontas County Thursday for Senior Night. All former Shady Spring boys soccer players are invited to step on the field at halftime to help honor the seniors.
Game time is 7 p.m.
Summit Christian 4, Mountain Mission 1
M.J. Patton scored three goals and had one assist to lead Summit Christian (13-2) past Mountain Mission 4-1 Tuesday.
Patton assisted on the goal by Toby Bailey and Eli Patton had 10 save in goal.
Summit Christian battles Bluefield Thursday at East River Soccer Complex starting at 5:30 p.m.
