Charmco – Only the weather could slow Greenbrier West Friday night.
In a game called with 5:17 left in the third due to lighting in the area, the West offense picked up 353 yards as the Cavaliers beat Buffalo 33-0 in their opener.
Ty Nickell, an all-stater a year ago, placed his early bid for a repeat campaign with 237 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 23 totes.
Cole Vandall added 76 yards and a touchdown on a carry while Tucker Lilly pitched in 25 yards passing, finding Dalton Heath for a touchdown.
West improves to 1-0 and will host Summers County on Friday.
