Fairlea – Monquelle Davis and Ian Cline each scored three touchdowns as Greenbrier East beat Lincoln County 61-22 Friday night in Fairlea.
Davis scored on runs of 3, 31 and 14 yards while Cline scored on runs of 4, 5 and 35 yards in the win.
the defense and special teams didn’t miss out on the fun as Levi Wagner returned an interception 26 yards to give the Spartans the lead for good late in the first. Capping off a 19-point first quarter was Lucas McCallister, who returned a punt 50 yards for a score.
Cline led all players with 196 yards on 22 carries while McCallister caught three passes for 105 yards and another score.
The Spartans finish the regular season 8-2 and will likely host a playoff game when the final ratings are announced on Saturday.
