Shady Spring – Gavin Davis registered another career night Friday, rushing for 306 yards and five touchdowns to lead Shady Spring to a 33-18 comeback win over Class AAA Ripley Friday evening in Shady.
The performance comes after Davis rushed for six touchdowns last week and makes him the first area player to go over 1,000 yards on the season.
Cal Culicerto threw for 70 yards in the win with Gabe Knoblet hauling in a 64-yard pass.
Shady (5-4) will close the regular season next week at home against Liberty.
