Glen Daniel – It’s unknown whether or not Gavin Davis played his last high school football game Friday night but he played as though he did.
Davis rushed for 309 yards and four touchdowns Friday as Shady Spring rumbled to a 28-14 win at Liberty. It marked Davis’ second consecutive 300-yard rushing performance and his fourth of over 200 yards this season.
Shady, which came into the week at No. 17 in the latest playoff ratings, will be off next week, finishing the regular season at 6-4.
The Tigers will wait until next Saturday to see whether or not they made it into the postseason.
