Fairlea – Oak Hill kept its playoff hopes alive Friday night, going on the road and beating Class AAA rival Greenbrier East 23-3.
Oak Hill quarterback Jacob Ward completed all three of his passes for 86 yards and a touchdown while running back Leonard Farrow picked up 88 yards on 19 carries scoring once.
Rounding out the standout performances was Ethan Vargo-Thomas who nailed a 22-yard field goal and scored on a 47-yard run.
Greenbrier East running Back Ian Cline led the Spartans with 119 yards rushing on 15 carries while quarterback Monquelle Davis threw for 103 yards.
Oak Hill improves to 3-4 on the year and will be on a bye next week while Greenbrier East drops to 4-2 and will travel to Ripley on Friday.
