The final WVSSAC playoff ratings were unveiled Saturday evening.
Locally Independence secured the No. 2 seed in Class AA and James Monroe the No. 1 seed in Class A, ensuring both teams will host throughout the playoffs.
Indy will open with No. 15 Bluefield, making it the third time the two teams have met in the last 12 months. Indy won the previous two meetings. Elsewhere in AA Nicholas County earned the No. 12 seed and will travel to Frankfort.
In Class AAA Princeton slides in at No. 12 and will travel to No. 5 George Washington. Princeton head coach Chris Pedigo confirmed to Lootpress he will elect to play that game Friday, as is the choice of the away team. Beckley earned the No. 15 seed and will travel to No. 2 Huntington.
In Class A James Monroe will host Petersburg and Greenbrier West will host South Harrison. The final list of ratings can be viewed below.
