Lindside – James Monroe’s offense erupted Friday a the Mavericks trampled PikeView 54-6 in Lindside.
Layton Dowdy led the effort that saw JMHS compile 423 yards of total offense as he completed 5 of 7 passes for 160 yards and a score, adding a pair of rushing touchdowns.
Josh Hedrick scored PikeView’s lone touchdown on a 2-yard plunge with 1:22 to play. Kyle Williams led the Panthers in rushing with 48 yards on 10 carries.
