The leanest WVSSAC playoff ratings were unveiled Tuesday afternoon with movement locally. In Class A James Monroe achieved its highest rating of the season, improving to No. 2 in Class A. If the season ended today the Mavericks would have home field advantage through the playoffs.
In Class AA Independence sits at No. 3 while Bluefield sits on the bubble at No. 17.
In Class AAA Princeton moves up to No. 10 while Beckley and Oak Hill sit at 15 and 16 respectively, making this week’s matchup between the two teams a playoff game.
