Hico – Jayden Roop rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns to lead Midland Trail (4-3) past Liberty 41-14 snapping a three-game skid.
Thad Brown threw for 118 yards including a score to Xaylen Johns.
Preston Compton also added a rushing touchdown for the Patriots who travel to James Monroe Friday.
