Welch – Class A No. 4 Mount View ran wild Friday, beating Westside 51-0 at Vic Nystrom Stadium in Welch.
Tony Bailey led the way for the Golden Knights, rushing five times for 104 yards and a score while Jason Haggerty caught one pass for a 64-yard touchdown and tossed two completions on two-point conversion attempts.
Johnathan Huff and Jaylen Hall rounded out the big plays for Mount View with Huff returning a 45-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown and Hall returning an interception 44 yards for another score.
Mount View improves to 8-1 and will travel to Greenbrier West next Friday, hoping to secure a home playoff berth.
