Hico – Class A No. 12 Midland Trail dropped its third game in a row Friday, a 38-0 home loss to Nicholas County.
Coleton Hellems threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Grizzlies. Lucas Milam added a 50-yard scoring jaunt and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass.
Grayson Kesterson hauled in a 49-yard TD pass, while Jaxson Morriston scored on a six-yard run.
Midland Trail (3-3) hosts Liberty Friday, while Nicholas County travels to Braxton County.
