Shinnston – Nicholas Count mounted a fourth-quarter comeback in Shinnston to hand Lincoln it’s first loss in a 24-21 decision Thursday night.
Trailing 21-9 at the start of the fourth quarter, Kaleb Clark scored on a two-yard run to cut the deficit and with under a minute left Brycen Morriston capped the comeback when he found Alex Pritt for a three-yard score.
Clark led the way for the Grizzlies, carrying the ball 36 times for 159 yards and a score while Morriston completed 7-of-13 passes for 83 yards and the winning touchdown to Pritt.
Nicholas will enter its bye week at 3-1 and will host Midland Trail on Sept. 30
