WELCH – Mount View senior Tony Bailey accounted for four touchdowns as the Class A No. 4 Golden Knights defeated Tug Valley, 41-6, Friday night at Vic Nystrom Stadium.
Bailey had touchdown receptions of 10, 25 and 58 and returned a fourth quarter interception 80 yards for a fourth score. Bailey caught eight passes for 114 yards while quarterback Ryan Long completed 18-of-23 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns.
T.J. Bell rushed for 140 yards on 13 attempts and scored on runs of 5 and 12 yards.
Elijah Fluty rushed for 73 yards on 20 attempts and scored Tug Valley’s lone touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Mount View improved to 6-1 on the season and will travel to winless Tolsia Friday night.
Tug Valley falls to 2-4 and will travel to Twin Springs (VA) on Tuesday before traveling to Westside Friday night.
