Clearfork – Liberty’s Peyton Pettrey carried the ball seven times for 122 yards and a touchdown as Liberty came away with a 38-0 win over Westside Friday night in Clearfork.
Pettrey was a force on both sides of the ball, collecting three sacks on defense in the shutout victory.
As a whole the Raiders were dominant on the ground, picking up 336 yards with Logan Dodrill crossing the century mark with 109 yards and two scores as well.
Running back Blake Goode led Westside with 90 yards rushing on nine carries.
No. 7 Liberty improves to 4-1 on the season and will travel to Scott on Friday while Westside drops to 1-6 and will host Class AA No. 8 Nicholas County on Friday.
