Princeton – Grant Cochran threw four touchdown passes, Brodee Rice ran for two scores and Dominick Collins caught two and returned a kickoff for another as Princeton rolled to a 48-18 home victory over Greenbrier East Friday at Hunnicutt Stadium.
Cochran improved on his area best 19 touchdown passes with four more to go along with 106 yards passing. Collins caught his 15th and 16th scores of the season, hauling in four passes for 68 yards. Rice turned 16 carries into 128 yards and two touchdowns, also hauling in a touchdown pass to round out the trio of performances.
Greenbrier East running back Ian Cline led the Spartans with 150 yards and two touchdowns, going over 1,000 yards on the season.
Princeton improves to 6-2 and will close the regular season with Parkersburg South at home. Greenbrier East drops to 3-6 and will wrap its season with a road trip to Lincoln County next week.
