Shady Spring dropped its season opener to Roane County Friday night 35-20 at H.B. Thomas Field.
Brady Green and Cal Culicerto each had a touchdown pass for the Tigers, while Josiah McCoy and Andrew Baker had a touchdown reception.
Gavin Davis had 41 yards on seven carries and scored a touchdown.
Shady Spring (1-0) host Nicholas County Friday.
