Greenbrier East 39, Ripley 23
Ripley – Greenbrier East picked up its first win of the season with a 39-23 win over Ripley Friday night.
The Spartans ran out to a 33-7 first half lead and never looked back.
Nate Suttle ran for 121 yards and three scores, while Brody Hamric added 83 yards and two scores to lead Greenbrier East. Suttle also had a 91-yard kick return for a touchdown and Hamric passed for over 150 yards in the win.
Greenbrier East is on the road at Parkersburg South Friday.
