Attached is a list of the area statistical leaders through Week 7 of the prep football season (Nicholas, Fayette, Raleigh, Wyoming, Mercer, Summers and Monroe counties). In order to be on the list, coaches must submit their players’ individual stats to tylerjackson@lootpress.com by Monday afternoon.

Liberty, which has not submitted statistics since Week 2 and only submitted partial statistics then, has been dropped from the leaderboard. River View did not submit statistics this week.

Record Watch
Princeton’s sophomore QB Chance Barker has thrown for 1,702 yards and added 23 touchdown passes in his first season as a starter. The program’s single-season pacing yardage record is 2,320 yards, set by Grant Cochran in 2020. Cochran also holds the single-season record for most touchdown passes with the 29 he threw last season. Barker needs a little over 600 yards and seven more touchdown passes to topple both records.
Princeton receiver Dom Collins set the single-season records for catches, yards and touchdown receptions last season with 58-1019-19. He needs 21 catches, 124 yards and five more touchdown receptions over the final three-plus games of the season to break the respective records he set last season.
