Attached is a list of the area statistical leaders through Week 8 of the prep football season (Nicholas, Fayette, Raleigh, Wyoming, Mercer, Summers and Monroe counties). In order to be on the list, coaches must submit their players’ individual stats to tylerjackson@lootpress.com by Monday afternoon.
Notes
Liberty, which has not submitted statistics since Week 2 and only submitted partial statistics then, has been dropped from the leaderboard. Midland Trail did not submit official statistics for Week 8.
Kaiden Simms and Gavin Davis both crossed the 1,000-yard rushing threshold this week while Summers QB Brandan Isaac became the first area player throw for over 2,000 yards.
