Westside 35, PikeView 25
Clear Fork – Class AA No. 4 Westside escaped an upset bid from PikeView with a 35-25 win Friday night.
The Panthers took the initial 7-0 lead and led 17-14 at halftime before the Renegades rallied in the third period.
Westside regained the lead with a pair of scores in the third quarter before PikeView moved back within three points early in the final period. Kadien Vance sealed the win with a 22-yard score with four minutes to play.
Vance tallied 340 totals yards on the night to lead Westside, running for three scores and throwing for two more. Kyler Kenneda had six grabs for 134 yards and two touchdowns.
Kameron York and Brayden Kenneda led the Renegades defense with nine tackles and Cole Cline had eight tackles.
