Cooper Ward fired a two-under par 34 Tuesday on The Cobb Course at The Resort at Glade Springs to lead Shady Spring past Charleston Catholic, Nicholas County and Wyoming East.
Jack Williams followed closely for the Tigers with a 35, while freshman Grant Winkler shot 39 to round out the team scoring.
Will Gruse led the Irish with a 37, while Braden Brown and Evan Pendergast each had 44 for the Grizzlies. Zach Hunt was low for the Warriors with a 46.
Princeton 14, Beckley 130, Oak Hill 137, Greater Beckley Christian 177
With the course at Black Knight Country Club playing tough Tuesday evening, Princeton survived the elements to knock off Beckley Oak Hill and Greater Beckley Christian.
Dylan Canterbury shot 40 for the Tigers to take low medalist honors, followed by Joseph Flanigan and Kaden Davis each with a 42.
Drew Gallaher led the Flying eagles with a 41. Tyler Stover carded a 42 and Austin Long finished with a 47.
Max Lopez was low for the Red Devils with a 44 and Kellen Heffernan had 54 for the Crusaders.
Greenbrier East 116, Summers County 136
Hinton – Isaac Hutchison fired a 36 to lead Greenbrier East past Summers County Tuesday at WillowWood Country Club.
Isaac Cantrell added a 39 and John Bicksler had a 41 for the Spartans.
Christian Dillon was low for the Bobcats with a 40, followed by Xavier Honaker with a 42 and Robey Brown had a 51.
