Fayetteville – Shady Spring placed three golfers under par Wednesday afternoon to defeat Midland Trail, Princeton, Oak Hill and Webster County.
Tyler Beard, Cooper Ward and Jack Williams all tied for low medalist honors shooting a 2-under par round of 34 for a team total of 102. Tiger freshman Grant Winkler shot even par 36 as well.
Midland Trail and Princeton tied for second place at 113. Oak Hill was fourth with 140 and Webster County shot 141.
Freshman Landyn Cordle led Midland Trail with 1-under par 35, followed by Van Wood at even par and Camryn Thomas with a 42.
Dylan Canterbury and Blake Blankenship paced Princeton with a 37 and Joe Flanigan had a 39.
Maz Lopez and Cole Nelson had a 46 for the Red Devils with Caleb Compton shooting 48.
Maddox Brown led the Highlanders with a 44 and Madelyn Williams added a 48. Nathan Hollandsworth shot 49.
