Shaye Basham assisted on a goal and scored on another as Mercer Christian defeated PikeView 3-1 Tuesday.
The Panthers took an early lead on Michael O’Sullivan’s goal in the second minute before a Landon Murnahan penalty kick tied the contest in the 15th minute.
M.J. Patton’s goal on an assist from Basham in the 26th minute broke the tie and Basham topped the scoring off in the 63rd minute.
Karis Trump notched eight saves for the Cavaliers in the win.
MCA improves to 5-2 and will host the Kings Warriors on Thursday at home.

PRINCETON – Sophie Hall scored four times Tuesday night to lead Woodrow Wilson past section al rival Princeton, 6-0.
Mya Wooton knocked in the other two goals for the Flying Eagles and Ally Arthur recorded her fifth clean sheet of the season.
Woodrow Wilson (5-1-3) travels to Herbert Hoover Thursday.
