WELLSBURG – The Woodrow Wilson boys ran its record to 3-0 Saturday with a 2-0 road win over Brooke.
Sophomore Tyler Snyder and senior Jackson Quattrone scored one goal each for the Flying Eagles, while keeper Nick Gunnoe recorded his third clean sheet of the season.
The Flying Eagles also won the JV match, 5-1.
Woodrow Wilson travels to Bridgeport next Saturday for a 1 p.m. game with the Indians.
Mercer Christian 5, Grace Christian 2
Landon Murnahan scored two goals as Mercer Christian picked up a 5-2 win over Grace Christian Saturday.
Karis Trump had 11 saves in the win while Shaye Basham scored a goal and assisted on another. The Cavaliers improve to 3-0 and will travel to James Monroe on Tuesday.

Pocahontas County 4, Midland Trail 3
HICO – Midland Trail girls soccer suffered its first setback of the season Saturday, dropping a 4-3 decision to Pocahontas County.
Rumor Barnhouse scored two goals for the Patriots. One goal came on an assist from Mia Nuckols and the other off a corner kick from Catherine Maxwell.
Maxwell also scored a goal off a direct kick. Trail keeper Mary McGraw had eight saves.
Bella Bauserman had a pair of goals for the Warriors, while Emma Riffe and Riley Pollack added one goal each.
Midland Trail (2-1) travels to Sherman Tuesday. Pocahontas County hosts Petersburg Thursday.
