Charleston – The PikeView boys soccer team and Shady Spring girls soccer team both fell in the Class AA-A Region 3 championship Tuesday in Charleston.
Both teams fell to Charleston Catholic with Shady losing 6-0 and PikeView falling 5-0.
Both Charleston Catholic teams advance to next week’s state tournament which will begin Friday, Nov. 5 in Beckley. The Catholic boys secure the No. 2 seed and will play Fairmont Senior in the semifinals at approximately 10:30 a.m.
