Shady Spring 4, Pocahontas 1
Dunmore – Nathan Vecellio recorded a hat trick to lead Shady Spring past Pocahontas County Thursday night.
The senior striker scored in the 26th minute to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead at the break. Vecellio added two more winners (47, 62) in the second half before the Warriors got on the board in the 69th minute.
The final tally for Shady Spring came in the 72nd minute via an own goal.
The Tigers (5-1-1) host Nicholas County Saturday at noon where it will be Family Day. All middle school students and younger will be admitted free of charge.

Midland Trail 10 Sherman 0
Playing on the new turf at Roger Eades Field, Midland Trail rolled to a 10-0 win over Sherman Thursday night.
Rumor Barnhouse scored four goals and Mary McGraw also had a hat trick with three goals. Raelyn Morris, Holly Ward and Fallon Bragg all had one goal each.
Bragg added two assists and Barnhouse had one.
