New Richmond – Bluefield put up eight runs before throwing a pitch, dispatching Wyoming East 13-0 in a five innings.
Izzy Smith struck out 13 in the win, holding East hitless. She also collected three hits.
Grace Richardson drove in three runs in the win, smacking a home run.
Mount View 17, Greater Beckley 4
Beckley – Mount View pounded out nine hits and capitalized on seven Greater Beckley errors to secure a 17-4 win at Greater Beckley Friday.
Kelsey Bailey collected four hits while Phoebe Dudgeon, Taylor Tessner and Kayleigh Rose drove in three runs each in the victory.
Greenbrier East 1, Beckley 0
Fairlea – Kayla Bartley fanned 14 batters Friday as Greenbrier East picked up a 1-0 win over sectional rival Beckley in Fairlea.
Bartley added a hit in the win while Gracie Gumm drove in the only run of the game with a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh.
Princeton 3, Graham, Va. 0
Princeton – Emma Johnson limited Graham, Va. to the four hits Friday as Princeton picked up a 3-0 win over the G-Men in Princeton.
Zoey Agnew led the charge with three hist and two RBIs in the win.
Johnson struck out seven in the shutout effort.
Liberty 15, Cross Lanes Christian 5
Cross Lanes – Liberty pounded out 23 hits Friday, collecting a 15-5 victory at Cross Lanes Christian.
Katie Mullens led the charge with five hits and an RBI while Allie Bowles and Zadie Worley added four hits each in the win.
