Liberty 7, Nicholas County 5
Summersville – Liberty scored five runs in the sixth inning and held off Nicholas County for a 7-5 win Friday night.
The Raiders pounded out 13 hits led by three each from Josie Hartshorn and Keandra Spurlock. Hartshorn hit three doubles and drove in two runs, while Spurlock smacked two doubles and also drove in a pair of runs.
Zadie Worley, Katie Mullens and Kacie Fraley all hit doubles with Worley tallying two RBI and Fraley had one.
Zoe Nash led the Grizzlies with a double, a triple and three RBI, while Cambria Neal had a double, a single and drove in two runs.
Kelsi Walker also had a double for Nicholas County.
