Nicholas County 9, Oak Hill 8
Summersville – Nicholas County scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, erasing an 8-5 deficit, to take a 9-8 win over Oak Hill.
Makenzie Hanshaw and Zoe Nash homered for the Grizzlies, while Myah Scott had four hits and three RBI. Kylie Amick also drove in three runs.
Scott, Nash and Bethany Butcher each hit a double for Nicholas.
Sadie Branch homered for Oak Hill, while Baylee Hildebrand and Halee Jones both doubled. A Stanley drove in two runs for the Red Devils.
Riverside 10, Beckley 2
Quincy – Riverside took a 5-0 lead after two innings en route to a 10-2 win over Beckley.
Riley Smith homered for the Warriors and had three RBI. Cameron Goble added a double and drove in three more runs.
Aubrey Smallwood had a solo blast for the Flying Eagles.
Bluefield 17, Summers County 0
Bluefield – Bluefield rolled up 13 runs in the first inning, rolling to a 17-0 win against Summers County Wednesday evening in Bluefield.
Grace Richardson led the charge for the Beavers with three hits and three RBIs while Maddy Lawson and Audra Rockness drove in a pair of runs each.
Summers went hitless in the loss.
