Oak Hill – Beckley jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never faltered, claiming a 15-0 win in a three-inning no-hitter Monday in Oak Hill.
Brooke Bird collected three hits while Kendall Dooley drove in three runs.
Taylor Scott and Aubrey Smallwood combined to toss the no-hitter.
Greenbrier East 6, Lake Braddock 5
Myrtle Beach – Hailey Ervin and Alanis McClary led the top of the Greenbrier East lineup with three hits each as the Lady Spartans Ā secured a walk-off 6-5 win over Lake Braddock in Myrtle Beach.
Jenna Groves drove in two runs in the win to pace East.
Kayla Bartley secured the win with 12 strikeouts in five innings of work.
Bluefield 9, Princeton 1
Bluefield – Izzy Smith fanned 13 batters Monday as Bluefield picked up a 9-1 home win in five innings over Princeton.
Maddie Lawson drove in a trio of runs with two doubles, on of five Beavers to collect two hits each in the win.
Hayden Jones collected Princeton’s lone hit in the loss.
Sherman 10, Liberty 1
Glen Daniel – Liberty fell behind early and never recovered, dropping a 10-1 decision at hime against Sherman Monday.
Lauren Guthrie led the Skyhawks with a home run and three RBIs.
McKinlea Hill led Liberty with a hit and an RBI.
Mount View 7, River View 3
Bradshaw – Mount View jumped out to an early lead and made it stick, downing county rival River View 7-3 Monday in Bradshaw.
Phoebe Dudgeon finished with three hits and four RBIs in the win, striking out 14 batters in the circle.
Ty’Quashia Wray added three hits in the victory.
Nicholas County 1, Midland Trail 0
Summersville – Cambria Neal surrendered just one hit Monday night, striking out 16 batters in a 1-0 win for Nicholas County against Midland Trail.
The win came at the expense on Trail freshman Madison Rader who scattered six hits and struck out 10 in her own stellar outing.
Gracie Trentham led Nicholas with three hits in the win while Rader produced the only hit for the Patriots.
