Shady Spring – Shady Spring’s Olivia Barnett hit three total home runs and pitched perfect inning as Shady Spring swept a doubleheader against PikeView, winning both games 17-0.
In the first game Barnett went 4 for 4, driving in four runs with two home runs while Paige Maynard pitched five innings, striking out 14 and allowing just one hit.
In the second game Shady kept the bats hot with Barnett crushing another home run and driving in four more runs.
Hadley Wood was also stellar at the plate, driving in six runs, going a perfect 6 for 6 at the plate.
Shady will host Mount View on Thursday.
