Wyoming East 21, Midland Trail 16
Hico – On the strength of 13 hits, Wyoming East survived a Midland Trail rally to secure a 21-16 win over the Patriots Tuesday in Hico.
Kayley Bane, Savannah Brehm, Carli Raye and Alivia Monroe all drove in four runs each for East while Monroe and Raye notched three hits each. Bane swatted two doubles.
Madison Campbell led Trail with four hits while Kate Hawkins and Alexis Dozier added three each. Hawkins led Trail with three RBI.
Beckley 19, Oak Hill 9
Oak Hill – Savannah Bragg notched three hits and drove in four runs Tuesday as Beckley rallied from a 9-8 deficit to beat Oak Hill 19-9 Tuesday in Oak Hill.
Aubrey Smallwood led the charge with four hits and two RBI for the Flying Eagles while striking out six over the final two innings to secure the victory while Brooklyn Bird swatted a dinger.
Bailey Willoughby led Oak Hill with the RBI in the loss.
Greenbrier East 12, Princeton 3
Fairlea – Greenbrier East pounded out 13 hits in four innings, beating Princeton 12-3 in five innings Tuesday in Fairlea.
Lindsey Black notched three hits and drove in three runs while Gracie Gumm swatted a home run and also drove in three runs.
Josi Ervin picked up the win for East with six strikeouts.
Abigail Jenkins drove in all three runs for Princeton in the loss.
