Summersville – Wyoming East scored a run in the top of the eighth inning to beat Nicholas County 9-8 in a wild back-and-forth affair that spanned eight innings Monday.
Andrea Laxton smacked a home run and had three RBIs, while Kayley Bane had three hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs.
Savannah Brehm hit a double as part of her three-hit night, while Alivia Monroe and Carli Raye both hit doubles.
Zoe Nash had a homer, a double and drove in two runs for the Grizzlies, while Bethany Butcher and Ashley Stephenson each hit a double, a single and also drove in two runs each.
Westside 12, River View 3
Bradshaw – Myles Meadows collected five hits Monday as Westside collected a 12-3 win over River View in Bradshaw.
Emilee Halsey and Jaelyn Rutledge drove in two runs each for the Renegades in the loss.
Hannah Honosky and Haylie Payne collected two hits each for River View.
