The Beckley boys and girls tennis teams moved to 4-0 on the season with a win over Greenbrier East Friday and a shutout win over Riverside Thursday in their first two home matches of the season.
The Flying Eagles opened the season with 7-0 wins on the road over St. Albans and Ripley.
Ram Asaithambi, Ethan Shepard and Vince Umberger won singles matches over Greenbrier East on the boys side Friday.
Asaithambi and Shepard won No. 1 doubles, while Tyler Radford and Umberger captured No. 2 doubles. Nicholas Fultz and Camden Johnson made it a sweep for the Flying Eagles by winning No. 3 doubles.
Dalya Hasan and Izzy Umberger won singles matches for Beckley on the girls side. Abby Dillon and Hasan won No. 1 doubles, while Umberger and Presley Jarrell took No. 2 doubles. Reese Green and Nicole Mourad combined to win No. 3 doubles and secure the sweep for the Flying Eagles.
Payton Barker, Emily McClure and Nixon Brown recorded singles wins for the Spartans.
