The first bi-weekly poll of the 2024 season for Class AA and A volleyball has been released.
Greenbrier West is No. 1 in Class AA, while defending state champion Oak Glen holds the top spot in Class AA.
Three-time Class A champion Williamstown, who moved up to AA with the new WVSSAC reclassification, sits at No. 2, followed by Philip Barbour at No. 3 and James Monroe at No. 4. The Mavericks also made the jump to AA this season.
Wyoming East is listed among the Others Receiving Votes for AA.
Gilmer County is No. 2 behind the Cavaliers in Class A, with Pendleton County and Wirt County tied at No. 3
River View is also listed in the Others Receiving Votes.
The Coaches Poll is comprised of four Class AA and four Class A coaches that represent all of the regions across West Virginia.
