Greenbrier West continued its roll though sectional play Thursday, besting Charleston Catholic 3-0 in Charmco.
The Cavaliers won their sets 25-21, 25-18 and 25-13, advancing to the Class A Region 3, Section 2 title match, guaranteeing them a spot in Saturday’s regional round at Charleston Catholic.
The Cavs will face the winner of Charleston Catholic-Greater Beckley on Thursday following that match. West will need to win just one match to claim the sectional title while the winner of Catholic-Greater Beckley will need to beat West twice.
Greater Beckley beat Richwood 3-0 and followed it up with a 3-1 win over Midland Trail Wednesday to advance to the final day of the Class A Region 3 Section tournament.
