Lindside – James Monroe ran its season record to 15-2-1 with a three-set win over Princeton Thursday night.
The Mavericks dominated the night with a 25-11 win followed by a 25-9 victory in set two and a 25-19 win to seal the match.
Hannah Rhodes highlighted the night with her 1,000th career assist.

Woodrow Wilson d. Hurricane 2-0
Hurricane – Woodrow Wilson swept a tri-match Thursday with 2-0 wins over host Hurricane and longtime rival George Washington.
The Flying Eagles knocked off the Patriots 25-14 in both sets and easily handled the Redskins 25-7 and 25-16.
Woodrow Wilson senior Salia Harris reached a major milestone by dropping the 1,000th kill of her career.

Midland Trail d. Meadow Bridge 3-1
Hico – Midland Trail earned its fourth win of the season with a 3-1 win over county rival Meadow Bridge, 3-1.
The Patriots won the first set, 25-13, before the Wildcats evened the match with a thrilling 26-24. Midland Trail regrouped to win the match with a 25-18 victory in set three and a 25-10 triumph in set four.
Independence d. PikeView 3-0
The Independence students were out in full force and the Patriots rode the momentum to a 3-0 win over sectional rival PikeView Thursday.
The ladies from Coal City won all three sets handily, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-16.
Senior Aubree Cantrell had nine kills and Rylie Froble had seven winners to pace Independence. Both players also had two aces.
Makenzie Denny recorded 14 assists and three kills, while Graci Perry and Maci Perry had three kills each. Cantrell added four blocks with the twin sisters combing for five blocks.
