WASHINGTON, D.C. (LOOTPRESS) – President Donald Trump weighed in on the ongoing backlash against Cracker Barrel’s new logo, urging the restaurant chain to return to its original branding.
In a post Tuesday on Truth Social, Trump said the company should “go back to the old logo, admit a mistake based on customer response,” and capitalize on what he called “a Billion Dollars worth of free publicity.”

He suggested the move could help “make Cracker Barrel a WINNER again.”
Trump framed the controversy as a business opportunity, advising the company to hold a news conference and address the widespread criticism of its new, simplified logo and updated store design.
The post comes as Cracker Barrel faces criticism from customers and public figures over its rebrand, which included dropping its longtime “Uncle Herschel” logo figure and the phrase “Old Country Store.”
The official White House X account reposted Trump’s post accompanied by their own rework of the logo that states “America First” and “America is Back.”
The caption of the post states “Go work, go broke.”

The company’s stock value dropped by double digits following the announcement earlier this month, though executives have defended the changes as part of a modernization effort.
Cracker Barrel has said elements such as rocking chairs, peg games, and vintage décor will remain central to the brand despite the updated look.
