PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Princeton police arrested a woman after a break-in into Grant’s Supermarket.
In the early hours of September 16, 2024, Princeton police responded to a break-in at Grant’s Supermarket on 1314 E. Main Street after a front glass break alarm was triggered. Patrolman E.F. Ford was dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:54 a.m., where he found the right sliding door of the store shattered and a metal cap from a cigarette disposal tube used to break the glass lying inside the entrance.
Upon reviewing surveillance footage, a white female wearing a light gray hoodie and dark gray pants was seen near the entrance holding a gray object. A follow-up investigation later that morning led to the identification of the suspect, Christina Bolin, after a manager of Grant’s provided a photo of her walking down E. Main Street, matching the description from the footage.
Later that morning, Mercer County 911 reported a second sighting of Bolin at Oasis Beauty Bar & Boutique on Mercer Street. Officer E.D. Leftwich is handling this portion of the investigation. The case remains under investigation.
