BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Representation for Raleigh County Prosecutor, Ben Hatfield and the petitioner of a Domestic Violence Protective order against Hatfield convened at the Raleigh County Judicial Center on Monday for a hearing regarding the aforementioned order
Proceedings got underway during the morning hours, with multiple individuals entering and exiting the courtroom during the lengthy hearing. A recess for the proceedings was called at around noon, with the hearing ultimately coming to a close at around 4:00pm on Monday.
The hearing follows a similar hearing which took place just over a week ago and saw one of two DVP filed against Hatfield dismissed in court. Monday’s hearing, however, saw the issuance of the second of the two protective orders.
Representation for Hatfield declined to comment on the ruling.
