Public Hearing Scheduled on Proposed Lease Agreement for Aquatic Facilities in Princeton

PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Princeton Building Commission has announced a public hearing to gather community input on a proposed lease agreement for a new aquatic facility project. The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., in the Board Room of the Princeton Municipal Building, located at 800 Bee Street, Princeton, West Virginia.

Purpose of the Hearing

The hearing will focus on a resolution to approve a lease agreement involving property owned by the Princeton Building Commission and leased to the City of Princeton. The property, comprising approximately 3.06 acres, is part of the Municipal Complex and is designated for the development of new aquatic facilities.

The planned facilities include:

  • A wave pool
  • A bathhouse
  • Concessions area

This development aims to enhance recreational offerings in Princeton and provide a modern aquatic space for residents and visitors.
