PUTNAM COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Law enforcement responded to a domestic violence complaint at approximately 5:45 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Hein Hollow Road and Heizer Creek in Poca, Putnam County.

Conflicting Accounts of the Incident
Ms. King stated that the altercation began as a verbal dispute but turned threatening when Mr. King allegedly balled his fist and lunged at her while she was lying in bed. To defend herself, Ms. King said she threw kerosene on Mr. King. She further alleged that Mr. King retaliated by grabbing the kerosene bottle and throwing it at her, striking her on the left side of her face.
