RAINELLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is accused of forcing children into doing sexually explicit conduct.
According to Greenbrier County Deputies, on Friday, December 18, 2020, they received a complaint from a mother about her child being sexually assaulted.  The juvenile stayed at her aunt’s house, along with the aunt’s boyfriend, Mr. Charles “Cody” Hodgson, in Rainelle from December 13 through December 17.  The juvenile was brought to the Child and Youth Advocacy Center and her sister, to tell what had happened.
The juvenile said she was staying at her aunt’s home, along with two cousins. While she was sleeping in the bed with her cousin, Cody came in and sat down on the bed, and asked her and her cousin to take off their pants. Cody asked the young girl to get on top of her cousin, to which she said no. Cody then asked the male cousin to get on top of the young girl, where she was then sexually assaulted.  Cody then sexually assaulted the young girl.
The next day she went home and told her mom what had happened.
Hodgson is charged with sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or person in a position of trust to a child and employment or use of minor to produce obscene matter or assist in doing sexually explicit conduct.
He is currently out on bond.
